For Tracy and her husband Alasdair, a professional chef, it became more than a tearoom; it became a labour of love, shaped by friendship, community, and hope. Behind every teapot and slice of cake lies a story — of kindness shared, laughter found, and hearts restored. It’s a space where old memories are honoured, and new ones are made. We are so delighted to share that The Dolly’s Vintage Tea Rooms is beginning a brand new chapter under new ownership — and will be reopening by the end of October. The teapots will be warm, the cakes freshly baked, and the tables waiting to welcome you back.
